Call for Volunteers and Upcoming Events
Wed, Jul 26, 11:56 PM
Hello Lompoc Valley Democrats,
I hope your weeks are going well...apart from the impending Gulf Stream collapse and global heat wave, of course.
Here are just a few things to consider...
* Adopt-a-Highway Volunteers Needed
For those of who may not know, our club adopted two stretches of highway and our wonderful members including Marell Brooks keeps them clean and tidy.
She wanted to let you all know that they could use a few more volunteers.
It's only a few hours every other month, and scores major karma points.
If you're interested or have questions please contact Marell directly.
phone: (805) 733-3462
Thank you to everyone who has contributed prizes, snacks and money for our Old Town Market booth. We're half way through and going strong.
If you haven't made it down on a Friday evening, come on down, check it out and say hi. Our booth is right in front of Jaspers.
In fact, here's a picture of Brian (best Secretary ever!) at the booth.
*Next City Council Meeting...
Tuesday, August 1st @6:30pm
The Draft Agenda looks pretty short, but you never know what might get added before Friday...
***General Monthly Meeting
Join us for a do-over of our July meeting.

*The Day Before Labor Day Picnic is coming!!!

Think that's it for now.
Enjoy the rest of your week and stay cool out there. Literally and figuratively.
Okay, hold on, you have to see the picture of Gregg Hart, our new State Assemblyman, during the recent meet and greet.
We're lucky to have him in Sacramento.
