from Leah Braitman,  President

 Lompoc Valley Democratic Club

Results from the Primary Election are still being tabulated, so we still don't have the final list of winners from the closer races.
But the one thing we do know...JOAN HARTMANN TOTALLY WON!

So, instead of  the usual monthly meeting next week, we're having a little get-together instead. Please join us as we not only congratulate Joan, but thank, honor and acknowledge all the hard work by our club members and Joan's team. And much gratitude to the Mally's who are providing their backyard. Nibbles and drinks will be provided.

WHEN: Monday, March 18
             6:00-8:00 PM
WHERE: 123 S. G St. (it's the house right next to the fire station)
You can even park in the lot behind the club and just walk over.
WHY: To Thank Volunteers and revel in Joan's victory!
Please contact me with any questions.
- Dress Warmly: the party will be held in the Mally's amazing backyard, and the second hour of the party might get a little chilly
- Uneven ground: sensible shoes are a good idea.
- Bring your appetite: We'll have some great heavy apps for everyone, beverages...and cake!
Salud is even coming!

* Also, just a friendly reminder if you haven't paid your yearly dues yet.
We have over 100 members and only around 30-ish have paid for this year.
Member dues are an important part of our yearly budget, so please put this on your to-do list.
We are asking for $20/member this year, but this is just a guideline.
Or send a check to: P.O. Box 43, Lompoc, CA 93438 (new zip code)
You could even just bring a twenty spot to the party next Monday!

Thanks for your time and attention and have a great week.
Onward to the next Election with just a brief celebratory pause,
Leah

Onward!
